FIC Report (Jigawa State) – The Federal Government, under the Presidential Initiative on Compressed Natural Gas program, has donated a brand-new bus to Sule Lamido University Kafin Hausa.
Governor Malam Umar Namadi praised the gesture, citing its potential to improve student welfare and promote sustainability.
The University’s Vice Chancellor, Professor Ibrahim Muhammad Yakasai, thanked the Federal Government and the Governor, assuring the bus would benefit students.
NCAOSC SENSITIZES BABURA COMMUNITIES, Dutse, Jigawa State
The National Commission for Almajiri and Out of School Children’s Education (NCAOSC) Jigawa State Advocacy Team conducted a sensitization visit to Babura Local Government Area.
Led by Chairman Malam Abdullahi Yunusa, the team engaged community influencers, traditional rulers, and Islamic scholars to promote enrollment of Almajiri and out-of-school children in structured educational programs.
The team emphasized the importance of quality education for community development and the future of children.
