FIC Report (Kaduna State) – The Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani was in the Office of the Vice President, His Excellency, Senator Kashim Shettima, GCON for the formal handover and finalization for the takeoff of the Federal University of Applied Sciences, Kachia, Kaduna State.
The Hon. Minister of Education, Dr. Tunji Alausa handed over the documents of the institution to Vice President Shettima, who in turn handed them to Governor Uba Sani.
The Vice President stated that President Tinubu is deeply encouraged by Governor Uba Sani’s inclusive and people-centred approach to governance and the massive infrastructural development taking place in Kaduna State.
He said the FG will continue to give all the support needed to sustain the current pace of development.
Governor Uba Sani stated that the establishment of the university would bring immense benefits to Kaduna state at large.
He also assured the FG full support by his administration and full cooperation in ensuring a seamless transition and sustainable operations of the new university.
He promised to give maximum support as FG said that institution will commence academic activities in September 2025.
