FIC Report (Zamfara State) – The Federal Government has reaffirmed it’s commitment to end the insecurity situations in Zamfara and other neighboring States.
This was disclosed by the Vice President Kashim Shettima while addressing gathering at the reception of Governor Dauda Lawal of Zamfara in to APC in Gusau.
The Vice President stated that the Federal Government deploys adequate security personnel and equipments to effectively fight bandits who have been terrorizing the innocent people of the state.
Shettima added that the Federal Government would collaborate with the state government to address the insecurity challenges facing the state saying that banditry would become history very soon.
He congratulated Governor Dauda Lawal for joining the APC and assured all necessary support and cooperation to move the state forward.
While responding the Executive Governor of Zamfara State, Dauda Lawal stated that he would continue with good work he started when he was in PDP and commended the APC stakeholders in the state for their maximum support for the success of his defection to the party.
