FIC Report (Nasarawa State) – Federal government has renewed it’s Commitment towards scaling up more interventions to Carter for the well being of poor vulnerable and Internally Displaced Persons across the Country.

The First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu made the Commitment during the Inauguration of the 40 household units Resettlement City Centre for internally displaced Persons (IDP) of Concern in Keffi, Nasarawa state recently.

Inaugurating the forty centre that houses over forty families named “Senator Oluremi Tinubu Renewed Hope Resettlement City Centre, Senator Oluremi Tinubu acknowledged the unwavering commitment of National Commissioner for Refugees Migrant and Internally Displaced Persons and his team for their resilience towards making life more better for Refugees, Migrants and Internally Displaced Persons across the Country.

The she however re-echoed commitment of the present administration of president Bola Ahmed Tinubu to bring succour to Nigerians through the renewed hope agenda.

Acknowledging the efforts of the then Minister of Humanitarian, Senator Lado and the then former Federal Commissioner, National Commission for Refugees, Migrants and Internally Displaced Persons, Hajiya Imaan Suleiman for initiating the Resettlement City Center, Governor Abdullahi Sule also showered praises on the present Federal Commissioner of the Commission, Tijani Aliyu for driving the initiative.

Minister of Humanitarian affairs and poverty reduction Nentawe Goshwe and his Women Affairs counterpart, Hajiya Imaan Suleiman described the initiative as a breakthrough on the lives of refugees Migrant and Internally Displaced Persons.

On his part, the host and federal Commissioner, National Commission for Refugees, Migrants and Internally Displaced Persons, Tijani Aliyu explained that the Resettlement City Center for persons of concern has social amenities that would Carter for the wellbeing of Refugees, Migrants and Internally Displaced Persons.

The event was climaxed with the presentation of cash and food items to the internally displace persons and Inauguration of the Oluremi Tinubu Renewed Hope Resettlement City Center by the first Lady, Governor Abdullahi Sule and other Dignitaries.
