The Federal Ministry of Art Culture Tourism and Creative Economy (FMACTCE) has been honoured with GO-LIVE Excellence Award by the Office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation (OHCSF),in recognition of its successful completion and activation of the Enterprise Content Management (ECM) system across the Ministry.
The award was presented during a colourful ceremony attended by key stake holders in the Federal Civil Service.
Speaking at the event, the Permanent Secretary FMACTCE, Dr Mukhtar Yawale Muhammad who represented the Ministry expressed his delight over the recognition. He appreciated the management and staff of the ministry for their support cooperation and understanding throughout the implementation process. According to him the achievements was a collective effort, noting that the credit should go to the entire workforce of the ministry, with Special Commendation to the ICT Department for its commitment and professionalism.
Earlier, the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Mrs Didi Esther Walson-Jack attended the formal Launch of the Enterprise Content Management by the ministry alongside the Honourable Minister of Art Culture Tourism and Creative Economy, Barrister Hannatu Musa Musawa.
Mrs Walson-Jack commended the ministry for its Proactive approach and dedication towards achieving the Federal Government’s digital transformation agenda.While in her response, the Honourable Minister, Barrister Hannatu Musa Musawa assured the Head of Service the ministry’s continued willingness and readiness to collaborate in advancing the Federal Civil Service.
In his welcome address during the launch, the Permanent Secretary (FMACTCE), DR Mukhtar Yawale Muhammad called for the entrenchment of the new technology in the daily work ethics by the staff of the ministry…”I urge everyone of us to embrace this new tool with enthusiasm and a sense of ownership. Let us utilize it to its fullest potential to support the Hon Minister’s vision and contribute to the legacy of a digitized civil service as championed by the Head of Service”.
The formal Launch of the ECM System was graced by the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Mrs Didi Esther Walson-Jack, the Honourable Minister FMACTCE, Barrister Hannatu Musa Musawa; the Permanent Secretary, FMACTCE, Dr Mukhtar Yawale Muhammad and the Permanent Secretary, Special Duties Office, Dr Abdulkarim Ibrahim Ozy among other dignitaries.
