The provision of enabling environment for exposure of the positive elements of the nation’s Art, Culture, Tourism and Creative Economy, a vital mandate under FMACT&CE was further boosted with the signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Ministry of Finance Incorporated (MOFI).

This collaboration between FMACT&CE and MOFI will enhance investment opportunities within Nigeria’s Creative and Tourism Industries, hence established a framework for financial partnership, infrastructure development and strategic investments, sustainable growth and global competitiveness.

The Ministry of Finance Incorporated (MOFI) was established in 1959 under the MOFI Act, primarily to serve as the sole manager of the Federal Government investment interests, estates, and rights. Tasked with addressing economic challenges and driving economic renewal, MOFI oversees a substantial portfolio of federal investments.

Leveraging on the MOFI’s financial expertise and the Ministry’s creative assets, the partnership aims to showcase Nigeria as a leading hub for creative enterprise and tourism innovation.

During the MOU signing ceremony, the Hon. Minister Barr. Hannatu Musa Musawa remarked “The Federal Ministry of Arts, Culture, Tourism and Creative Economy will continue to advance Nigeria’s creative and tourism sectors through strategic collaborations and diplomatic engagements to foster economic growth and global recognition.
