The Federal Ministry of Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Affairs (FMSDIGA) held a strategic Sensitization Workshop for the Central Results Delivery Coordination Unit (CRDCU) Desk Officers to deepen understanding and enhance coordination in delivering on the Federal Government’s priority areas.
Welcoming participants at the event, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Dr. Onwusoro Maduka Ihemelandu, emphasized the importance of the workshop in strengthening institutional knowledge and aligning ministerial efforts with the national agenda. “Today’s gathering is of strategic importance as we focus on strengthening our collective understanding and operational capacity to support the effective implementation of Government Policies and Programmes,” he stated. He further commended the CRDCU team for their pivotal role in ensuring accountable, measurable, and impactful service delivery, calling for active participation and collaboration throughout the sessions.
Delivering an insightful presentation, Mr. Esege Ebei Esege, Coordinator of the Central Results Delivery Coordination Unit (CRDCU), provided a comprehensive overview of the Federal Government of Nigeria’s Delivery System. He expounded on the Eight Presidential Priority Areas and the role of the Central Delivery Coordination Unit (CDCU) in monitoring and evaluation. Mr. Esege also introduced the Ministry’s digital transformation solutions, including the Performance Management Portal and the Citizens Delivery Tracker—technological innovations designed to support real-time performance tracking and data-driven governance.
In a complementary session, Mr. Onah Uchenna, Delivery Manager at FMSDIGA and member of CRDCU, took participants through the standardized reporting tools used by the unit. These include Output Reports, Progress Reports, and Project Templates, all critical for monitoring performance across sectors. Mr. Onah also elaborated on the Ministry’s Performance Bonds and High Impact Deliverables, reinforcing the government’s commitment to transparent and results-oriented governance.
This workshop reflects FMSDIGA’s ongoing efforts to institutionalize best practices in public service delivery and foster a results-driven culture in line with national development goals.
