He pointed out that the Performance Management System (PMS) in all MDAs provided that there shall be a clear link between Performance Management outcomes/results and rewards. Employee performance shall largely be used to determine rewards and recognition. Gaidam stressed.

“It is pertinent for all to know that Nigerian citizens rely on us to execute policies, programmes, and projects and deliver services that enhance their well-being, and planned development that would significantly contribute to Gross Domestic Product (GDP). Therefore, as custodians of public trust, we must be transparent and accountable in-service delivery to Nigerian citizens to promote sustainable development”.

Engr. Adetayo Olokunbola who was one of the facilitators at the training stated that the goal of e-government is to provide non-stop government services thus creating a friendly easy-to-use mechanism for the public and corporate to locate information and use services available on the net. It is closely followed by greater access to public information and more convenient government services.

In his words, ´While digitization focuses on converting and recording data, digitalization is all about developing processes and changing workflows to improve manual systems. Technology is only destructive in the hands of people who do not realize that they are valuable. Security is a top priority so protect your data.
