FIC Reprot (Katsina State) – The Executive Governor of Katsina State, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, officially presented 10 armored personnel carriers to security operatives in the 8 frontline local governments of Katsina State in order to bolster security in the State.
This significant event took place on Monday, 15th April 2024 at the Katsina State Government House.
In his address, the Governor emphasized that he has followed through on his commitment to equip the Katsina Community Watch and the joint operation led by the police with all the necessary resources. He revealed that, during his campaign, he pledged to provide the people of Katsina State with the essential skills, tactics, and strategies to ensure their security. He expressed his gratitude to the Katsina Community Watch Corps and other security agencies for their commendable accomplishments.
Although he acknowledged that complete eradication of insecurity in the state cannot be claimed, he assured the people that significant progress has been made and the pursuit of peace in Katsina State will not waver.
The vehicles were allocated to the following eight frontline local governments: Safana, Batsari, Danmusa, Kankara, Faskari, Sabuwa, Dandume, and Jibia LGA’s.
