FIC Report (Anambra State) – The Governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Soludo who has promised to transform Anambra State has constructed an ultramodern road network at Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University Teaching Hospital (COOUTH) Amaku, Awka.
While addressing Journalists during the supervision of the project at COOUTH, Awka the Managing Director of Awka Capital Territory Development Authority (ACTDA) Mr Ossy Onuko disclosed that the 1.7 kilometer road rehabilitation project was set for completion within few days.
Mr Onuko stated that the Agency is carrying out a total reconstruction including the new asphalting of the road to enhance the hospital accessibility and appearance pointing out that this administration was able to transform the State infrastructure wise.
He commended Governor Soludo for his commitment to infrastructure development despite the meager resources at the State coffer describing his leadership as pivotal in delivering tangible benefits to Anambra State.
The Chief Medical Director of COOUTH, Dr Joe Akabuike revealed that Professor Soludo prioritized healthcare infrastructure and established a trauma Center at the hospital.
He praised the Governor’s vision to transform the Teaching Hospital into a hub for medical tourism, with state-of-the-art facilities and skilled human resources.
