FIC Report (Nasarawa State) – Governor Abdullhi Sule of Nasarawa state has changed the participants of the joint planning Board and National Council on Development planning to identify techniques and workable solution that will address the current economic challenges bedeviling the Nation.
He threw the challenge while playing host to federal Permanent Secretary and other Directors who are in Nasarawa State to attend the twenty-third joint planning Board Council Meeting in Lafia, the Nasarawa State Capital recently.
The twenty-third joint Planning Board and National Council on Development Planning organized by the Federal Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning in collaboration with the Nasarawa State government.
with the theme “The state of Nigerian Economy Challenges, options and opportunities” was to ensure adequate planning and proffering solutions towards addressing the Nigerian economic Challenges.
Governor Sule while Identifying planning as key to any prospects in the society, explained that the meeting is not only apt but commendable coming at a time when the Economy of the Country is faced with numerous challenges.
He noted that no state of the federation is without one form of minerals or the other, also called for adequate and proper use of the rich minerals resources that are bound in the Country.
Earlier, Permanent Secretary Federal Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning Doctor Vitalist Obi said the event was aimed at proffering workable solutions with developmental strategy on how to stimulate the Nation’s economy.
Doctor Obi also used the avenue to acknowledge the numerous developmental initiatives of Governor Abdullahi Sule’s administration in Nasarawa State within the shortest possible time.
