Governor Uba Sani Visit Minster Works On Abuja-Kaduna-Kano Road

FIC Report (Kaduna State) – The Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani CON met with the Honourable Minister of Works, Senator David Umahi, CON, to undertake a comprehensive review of the Abuja–Kaduna–Kano Expressway project, currently advancing with pioneering durable concrete technology.

Sani said the deliberations centered on expediting the completion of the Abuja–Jere–Kaduna segment, a vital artery whose swift finalisation promises to alleviate persistent traffic congestion, thereby facilitating seamless travel for millions, residents of Kaduna and Nigerians nationwide, who rely on this critical corridor for their daily commute and economic pursuits.

He further said underscored that this expressway transcends regional utility; it stands as a crucial national endeavour embodying the visionary objectives of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda. This infrastructure project exemplifies our collective commitment to fortifying essential transport networks, stimulating economic vitality, and fostering deeper regional integration.

Uba said the Kaduna State Government remains steadfast in its collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Works, united in the resolve to deliver this strategic infrastructure within the projected timeframe.

Governor Mentioned that together, with the Federal Government, we are determined that the Abuja–Kaduna–Kano Expressway will not only symbolize renewed hope and national unity but also stand as a beacon of sustainable development for generations to come.

The Honourable Minister works Senator David Umahi CON reaffirmed that this initiative holds paramount importance within the current administration’s agenda, assuring that contractors have been mandated to implement double shifts to accelerate progress without compromising quality.

He also explained that Contractors, fully cognizant of the project’s significance, have pledged unwavering dedication to intensify efforts, particularly in the Jere corridor.
