FIC Report (Kaduna State) – The Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani has received the remaining 172 worshippers abducted from churches in Kurmin Wali, Kajuru LGA, marking a major victory for Kaduna State and the Federal Government’s efforts.
A total of 183 people were released and out of this number, 11 were earlier hospitalised but have been discharged and reunited with their families.
It will be recalled that the Governor had visited the community on January 19 to commiserate them. He promised that his administration would do everything possible to bring them home. Today, that promise has been largely fulfilled.
By keeping his word, the Governor has again demonstrated that his government puts the lives of its citizens first.
The Honourable Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs (Dr.) Sule Shu’aibu SAN, joined His Excellency, The Governor of Kaduna State, to receive and welcome the remaining victims abducted from churches in Kurmin Wali, Kajuru Local Government Area.
