FIC Report (Imo State) – The Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodimma, has extended warm felicitations to the Muslim Ummah in the state and across Nigeria on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-Fitr celebration.
Eid-el-Fitr, which marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan, is a significant Islamic festival celebrated worldwide, emphasizing values such as sacrifice, devotion, charity, love, and peaceful coexistence.
In a goodwill message, the Governor commended Muslim faithful for their discipline, resilience, and commitment throughout the period of fasting and spiritual reflection, noting that their devotion serves as a model of faith and selflessness.
He urged Nigerians to uphold and sustain the virtues of Ramadan, particularly those of unity, compassion, and tolerance, in order to foster peaceful coexistence and national development.
Governor Uzodimma also expressed optimism that the lessons of the holy month would continue to guide citizens in promoting harmony, mutual respect, and collective progress within society.
He prayed for continued peace, stability, and prosperity in the state and the nation at large, while wishing all Muslim faithful a joyous and fulfilling Eid-el-Fitr celebration.
