FIC Report (Kano State) – In a heartfelt New Year message to civil servants, Mrs. Didi Esther Walson-Jack, OON, mni, the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, extended her warm wishes for a prosperous and fulfilling 2025.
Mrs. Walson-Jack commended civil servants for their unwavering dedication and professionalism, which she described as the cornerstone of the Civil Service’s achievements over the past five months. She highlighted significant strides made in improving service delivery, fostering accountability, and enhancing efficiency within the sector.
“As we step into 2025, let us renew our commitment to building an efficient, productive, incorruptible, and citizen-centered Civil Service,” she urged. “By working collaboratively and embracing opportunities for growth, we can create a world-class Civil Service that drives accelerated national development.”
She also emphasized the importance of fostering a service culture that would evoke admiration and inspiration, encapsulated in her vision of a Civil Service that inspires the exclamation, “Unbelievable! wow!”
The Head of Service concluded her message with best wishes for a year filled with joy, prosperity, and success, reiterating her commitment to leading a Civil Service that continues to be a pivotal force in national development.
