ABUJA – (OSSAP-NDA Report) – The Judicially Staff Union of Nigeria (JUSUN) has commended the Secretary of the Presidential Implementation Committee for Autonomy of State Judiciary and Legislature, Senator Ita Enang for his support during the period of her industrial action to press home her demands for free, strong and independent judiciary in Nigeria.
The report from the Publicity Unit of the Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Niger Delta Affairs noted that the commendation was contained in a letter of appreciation from JUSUN to the Secretary of the Presidential Implementation Committee, signed by the Deputy President of the Union, Comrade Emmanuel Abisoye   and the General Secretary of the Union, I. M Adetola.
According to the report, the letter reads: “The above mentioned Union writes to appreciate your support during the period of her industrial action to press home her demands for free, strong and independent Judiciary in Nigeria. The Union believes that if judiciary becomes free, the justice system would be better administered for the betterment of Nigerians.
While thanking you for your continuous support during and after the turbulent time of our great union, we assure you of our support always.”
The report identifiedSenator Ita Enang  as the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Niger Delta Affairs and the Secretary of the Presidential Implementation Committee for the Autonomy of State Judiciary and Legislature.
