Kano State Approves Visiting Date for Boarding Schools

FIC Report (Kano State) – The Kano State Government has announced the visiting date for boarding schools in the state. This development allows parents and guardians to spend quality time with their children and assess their progress.

According to Balarabe Abdullahi Kiru, Director Public Enlightenment, Ministry of Education, Kano State, “Saturday, 2nd November, 2024, has been approved and set aside as visiting day for all boarding primary and post-primary schools in the state.” This designated day aims to foster a stronger connection between students and their families.

The visiting hours are scheduled from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on November 2, 2024. Parents and guardians are expected to adhere to the stipulated time frame and follow the rules and regulations governing visiting procedures.

The State Commissioner of Education, Alhaji Umar Haruna Doguwa, expressed gratitude for the support and cooperation given to the ministry. He wished students and their families a successful and hitch-free visiting experience.

Parents and guardians are advised to take advantage of this opportunity to interact with school administrators and teachers, discuss their child’s performance, and address any concerns. This visitation day aims to promote a collaborative relationship between families and educational institutions.
