FIC Report (Kano State) – Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabiru Yusuf, has welcomed 29 students who completed their master’s degrees at SR University in India, sponsored by the state government. This milestone marks part of the state’s 1,001 foreign scholarship program aimed at empowering youth with global knowledge.

Governor Yusuf congratulated the scholars on their achievements, emphasizing the critical role their newfound knowledge will play in Kano’s socio-economic growth. He praised their determination and hard work, noting that their success showcases the potential within Kano’s youth.

The governor also announced the reopening of the application process for a new round of the 1,001 Postgraduate Scholarship Programme.
