Coat of arms

FIC Report (Kwara State) – The Synergy between PEBEC and Kwara State Government has been a solid one.

This is known through The North-Central edition of Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council (PEBEC)’s Listen Implement Track (LIT) sub-national tour hosted by Kwara State government on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at the State Banquet Hall, Ilorin, which had in attendance business community, government stakeholders, and regulators.

Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council (PEBEC) advised business owners to share their concerns or complaints against regulatory bodies using the mobile and web-based platform ReportGov.ng, which processes and resolves all issues within a 72-hour time frame as it will ensure successful implementation of ongoing and planned reforms.

This effective Collaboration has however brought about many Economic Developments such as Kwara State Social Investment Programmes (KWASSIP).

KWAPRENEUR, one of the programs under KWASSIP, is an initiative of the Kwara State Government that gives financial support ranging from N3m downward to businesses owned mainly by young people across all the 16 local governments in Kwara State to encourage self-reliance through entrepreneurship and innovation, especially small-scale businesses that are the life wire of any economy.

Subsequently, the hope is high that the model of Effective Collaboration for Economic Development between PEBEC and Kwara State would remain an exemplary one for other states.
