Ministry announces circulation of Trademarks Journal, Volume 2, No 1 of 2017, to issue Patents Design Certificates without ribbon.

    The Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment has announced the commencement of the circulation of Trademarks Journal, Volume 2, No 1 of 2017 with effect from 24th November, 2017.
    The Ministry which has been handling the issue of Patents Design through its Commercial Law Department has also directed that applicants who have pending Certificates on Patents Design to collect can come forward to collect same, but these will be without ribbons.
    To procure a copy of the Trade Mark Journal, the Ministry stated that users will have to pay N21, 000 into Government Coffers through the Treasury Single Account (TSA).
    The Ministry has further designated William K. Amuga as the Ministry’s Contact person to coordinate the circulation of the Journal. William K. Amuga can be reached through 08035374183 or through the Office of the Registrar-General/Director, Commercial Law Department of Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment.
