Ministry Sympathises With The People Of Borno Over Maiduguri Bomb Blast

The Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction expresses deep sorrow over the tragic bomb blast that recently occurred in Maiduguri, Borno State, resulting in loss of lives and injuries to innocent citizens.

The Honourable Minister, Dr. Bernard M. Doro, described the incident as deeply distressing and extended heartfelt condolences to the Government and people of Borno State, particularly the families who have lost loved ones in the unfortunate incident.

The Honourable Minister of State, Dr. Yusuf Tanko Sununu, also conveyed his sympathies, noting that the pain and trauma caused by such acts are shared by the entire nation. He urged continued unity and resilience among citizens in the face of adversity.

“The Ministry stands in solidarity with the people of Borno State during this difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families, and we pray for the speedy recovery of those injured,” the Ministers stated.

The Ministry calls on all Nigerians to remain calm, vigilant, and supportive of one another, while continuing to uphold peace and national unity.
