FIC Report (Nasarawa State) – Nasarawa State Government is strengthening it’s partnership and collaboration with the Nigeria employers consultative Association, NECA on the training of over one hundred youths in Artificial intelligence AI in the state.
The collaboration was part of the decision reached when the DG/ CEO of the Association, Smatt Adewale let a top Management members of the Organisation on a visit to Governor Abdullahi Sule at the Government house lafia, the state capital recently.
Governor Sule while appreciating the role played by the Nigeria employers consultative Association NECA, for promoting training and other skills geared towards making lives more meaningful to citizens and, equally expressed his administration’s readiness for the partnership especially on Artificial intelligence training AI in the state.
The Governor while Underscoring the importance of Artificial intelligence AI in contemporary society, explained that his administration had since key into training in vocational technical and skills acquisitions as according to him the era of having certificates without skills is over.
He stressed that it is inline with his passion for digital transformation and been a member of the Bukuru Old Boys Association (BOSAT) that he recently donated 25 units of computers to his former school, Bukuru Technical school as part of his support in promoting digital technology in institution.
The DG/CEO, Nigeria Employers Consultative Association (NECA), Mr Adewale Oyedrinde stated that the rationale behind his Organizations interest for partnership and collaboration with the Nasarawa state Government on the AI training was as a result of the numerous transformative initiative by the state Governor in various sector of the economy.



NECA DG informed the Governor that his organisation is poise to training 4000 of young Nigerians across the Country with one 100 youths from Nasarawa state to benefit on Artificial intelligence training AI.
He described skills acquisitions as the biggest investment in the contemporary society, the DG Acknowledged the huge investment by the Abdullahi Sule in the area of skills acquisitions and other key areas for the development of the state.
