FIC Report (Zamfara State) – The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has commended Zamfara State Government on the progress over the on-going construction of Gusau International Airport.
The commendation was made by the Director of NCAA, Ahmed Abba while inspecting the project site in Gusau.
The Director expressed satisfaction with the quality of work and hardworking of the contractors saying that the level of compliance and collaboration with the aviation standards and professionalism demonstrated at the site is quite impressive and encouraging especially the commitment of the state Government.
He further appreciate the dedication and effective supervision by the State Ministry of Works and Infrastructure to ensure the project meets all the required national aviation standards pointing out that the progress recorded so far the airport is at the track towards the level of successful completion.
While briefing the inspection team, the Zamfara State Commissioner of Works & Infrastructure, Lawal Barau Bungudu expressed appreciation with the Director’s visit and highlighted the level of the project to meet the target period stressing the commitment of the state government under Governor Dauda Lawal towards the project.
The inspection was accompanied by the Permanent Secretary State Ministry of Works, Engr Haruna Dikko Gusau, Special Adviser to the Governor on Infrastructure Arc. Ibrahim Musa Agigi and Directors among others.
