NDE Flags Off Second Phase of Renewed Hope Employment Initiative in Kwara State

FIC Report (Kwara State) – The National Directorate of Employment (NDE) has launched the second phase of its Renewed Hope Employment Initiative (RHEI 2) in Ilorin, Kwara State. The ceremony, held at the Federal Secretariat Complex, aims to empower 1,130 beneficiaries in Kwara State with various skills, including vocational, entrepreneurship, agriculture, ICT, and public sector activities.

Representing the NDE Director-General, H.E. Silas Ali Agara, the State Coordinator, Mr. Adelodun Olusegun Michael, emphasized that the program aligns with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda. He congratulated the selected trainees and urged them to remain committed to the training, which will equip them to become employers of labor and wealth creators.

The Honourable Commissioner for Youth and Employment in Kwara State, Hon. Shehu Ndanusa Usman, appreciated the federal government for this initiative and encouraged the trainees to stay focused.

One of the trainers, Mr. Abiodun Simire of Omega AOS Systems, promised a conducive learning environment for ICT trainees.

A beneficiary, Habibat, expressed gratitude to the Federal Government for the opportunity and pledged to make the most of it.

This initiative is part of the NDE’s efforts to address unemployment and empower Nigerians with skills to drive economic growth. With 41,307 beneficiaries across the country, the Renewed Hope Employment Initiative is poised to make a significant impact in the lives of many Nigerians.
