FIC Report (Nasarawa State) – The Nigerian Police Force has reaffirmed it’s unwavering Commitment to tackling Security challenges bedeviling parts of the Country.
The Inspection general of police Mr Kayode Egbetokun made the Commitment during the graduation of one hundred and sixty nine Nigerian Police Special intervention squad (SIS) held recently at Police Force Mobile Training College Endde hills in Nasarawa Eggon Local Government area of Nasarawa State.
The Inspector general of Police Mr Kayode Egbetokun said the event marked significant milestone in the Police efforts for Secured and Safer Country and also serve as testament for the Nigerian Police Force relentless efforts towards ensuring a Free crimes society.
Mr Kayode Egbetokun further explained that the Special Intervention Squad (SIS) is the Nigerian Police force Strategic response to bridge the gap in Security threats bedeviling parts of the Country.
While noting that the officers have undergone a rigorous training on how to navigate almost all forms of crimes in parts of the nation, the IGP charged the officers to always show Professionalism in the discharge of their assigned duties.
Governor Abdullahi Sule in his address at the event, congratulates the Police officers who undergone on rigorous training on how to combat crime and criminalities in the society.
He Commended the Inspector general of police Mr Kayode Egbetokun for given adequate attention to training and retraining of the officers and Men of the force to acquaint them with the Knowledge of their duties.
Governor Sule however Showered accolades on the former inspector general of police Mohammed Adamu for his foresight in facilitating the establishment of the Police Training College in Enddehu that formally was death trap to many Nigerians as a result of activities hoodlums in the area.
