NSIPA: FG Releases Over N10billion Renewed Hope Conditional Cash Transfer To 411,292 Households Across 36 States And FCT

    Lagos State Govt. Seeks FG’s Support In Addressing Industrial Pollution

    The National Cash Transfer Office (NCTO) under the National Social Investment Programme Agency (NSIPA), has released the sum of Ten Billion, Two Hundred and Eighty-Two Million, Three Hundred Thousand Naira (N10, 282,300,000) only to 411,292 households beneficiaries across the 36 States and FCT under the Renewed Hope Conditional Cash Transfer (RH-CCT) of Mr. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, Commander in-chief of the Nigerian Armed Forces.

    This was disclosed by the National Coordinator/CEO, National Social Investment Programme Agency, Associate Professor Badamasi Lawal, PhD.

    He said the funds is the second tranche of payments made directly to beneficiaries’ bank accounts nationwide.

    According to him, the Renewed Hope Conditional Cash Transfer, RH-CCT, under the National Cash Transfer Office is aimed to cushion the economic hardships of the beneficiaries who are mostly the poor and vulnerable.

    “It is part of Mr. President’s Renewed Hope Agenda aimed at alleviating Poverty and improving the livelihoods of poor and vulnerable Nigerians. The programme demonstrates the government’s commitment to supporting the poor, vulnerable populations and promoting economic growth”. The National Coordinator/CEO stated.
