NSIPA Holds Workshop On Result-Driven Performance Assessment Of Deliverables And Indicators

The National Social Investment Programme Agency (NSIPA) convened a capacity building workshop on Wednesday, 14 January 2026, to strengthen result driven performance assessment of the Agency’s deliverables and indicators.

    Highlights:

    • Review and adoption of the Central Results Delivery Coordinating Unit (CRDCU) reporting framework as applicable to the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction/NSIPA.
    • Identification and validation of NSIPA’s 2026 high impact deliverables and performance indicators.

The workshop brought together Programme and Departmental Managers and CRDCU focal Officers to discuss the high impact deliverables and indicators that will drive the implementation of Presidential priorities and ministerial mandates under the Renewed Hope Agenda. The session aimed to identify operational challenges, promote inter departmental collaboration, and develop actionable solutions to improve the delivery and impact of government programmes.

The event was declared open by Mr. Hamza Baba, National Programme Manager (GEEP), who represented the Acting National Coordinator and CEO.

In her opening remarks, Dr. Binta Ibrahim, Head of Planning, Research & Statistics (PRS), emphasized the importance of the CRDCU framework as more than a compliance tool: “The CRDCU template provides a clear framework to measure performance across ministries, agencies and parastatals. Targets are not just numbers on paper; they are commitments that must be clear, measurable and achievable and must translate into tangible impact for citizens.” She urged participants to use the workshop to advance accountability, innovation and excellence across the Agency.

Senior officials and Programme Managers present included:

    • Abdullahi Maikudi — Director, Finance & Accounts
    • Dr. Binta Ibrahim — Deputy Director / Head, Planning, Research & Statistics
    • Akinyemi Olumide, Deputy Director Finance and Accounts
    • Mr. Attari M. Hope — Deputy Director / Head, Information & Public Relations
    • Dr. Madu Uba — Assistant Director, N-Power
    • Mr. Hamza Baba — National Programme Manager, GEEP
    • Dr. Princess Aderemi F. Adebowale — National Programme Manager, Renewed Hope National Home Grown School Feeding Programme
    • Aishat Alubankudi — National Programme Manager, Grant for Vulnerable Groups (GVG)

    Going forward,
Participants agreed to finalize the 2026 deliverables and indicators for submission through the CRDCU reporting cycle, and to establish follow up mechanisms to monitor progress and address identified bottlenecks.

    Signed
