FIC Report (Edo State) – The Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, has congratulated Prof. Ibrahim Gambari, on his appointment as the Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari.
The governor, in a statement in Benin City, said Prof. Gambari’s appointment is well-deserved as he would bring his wealth of experience from the diplomatic and academic communities to bear in handling matters of state.
According to him, “I heartily congratulate Prof. Ibrahim Gambari on his appointment as the Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari. As a seasoned diplomat and scholar, he brings immense experience to his responsibility in government.”
Governor Obaseki also noted that the diverse and robust experience of Prof Gambari in managing multi-country projects and his extensive reach within the International Community, is sure to bring a fresh perspective to the President’s quest to move Nigeria to the next level.
The governor commended President Buhari for his choice of such a consummate professional as his Chief of Staff.
