FIC Report (Osun State) – Hon. Adewale Egbedun, the speaker of the Osun State House of Assembly has assured that 2025 Budget would birth various jobs for the Osun State citizens and that the present 8th Assembly is committed to the growth and development of the state.
He made this statement during the plenary sitting of the house in Osogbo the state capital as the 2025 Budget Estimate Defence commenced.
He advised all Ministries Departments and Agencies of Government to prepare adequately well for the defence exercises as “Budget scrutinize is our priority for economy growth of the state”.
Also,the Chairman Osun State House of Assembly Committee on Finance and Appropriation, Hon. Olumide Fatumise in his remark, noted the achievements of Governor Adeleke in the past years and therefore urged the MDAs to work on their revenue work plan to enhance development and he charged the people of the state to continue to support the administration.
According to him,” Let all be committed to financial reality that will aid development by ensuring judicious spending of resources for smooth running of the state at large”.
Hon. Olumide Fatumise advised all MDAs to ensure accuracy in their presentations.
MDAs that appear for defence exercise include, Ministry of Home Affair, Ministry of Women Children and Social Affairs, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Ministry of Sport and Special Needs among others.
