Alhassan Ado-Doguwa moved for the second reading of A Bill for an Act to Amend the Appropriation Act, 2022 to extend the Implementation of the Capital Aspect of the Appropriation Act, 2022 from 31 December, 2022 to 31 March, 2023; and for Related Matters (HB. 2161). Saidu Musa Abdullahi moved that the House do receive the Report of the Committee on Finance on a Bill for an Act to amend relevant Tax, Excises and Duty Statutes in line with the Macroeconomic Policy Reforms of the Federal Government; to amend and to make further provisions in specific laws in connection with the Public Financial Management of the Federation; and for Related Matters.

2. Rep. Muktar Betara moved a motion to lay the Report of the Committee on Appropriations on the 2022 Supplementary Appropriation Bill to authorize the issue from the Consolidated Revenue Fund (CRF) the total sum of N819, 536,937,813 (Eight Hundred and Nineteen Billion, Five Hundred and Thirty-Six Million, Nine Hundred and Thirty-Seven Thousand, Eight Hundred and Thirteen Naira, only.

3. Rep. Muktar Betara moved a motion to lay the Report of the Committee on Appropriations on a Bill for an Act to authorise the issue from the Consolidated Revenue Fund of the Federation the total sum of N21,827,188,747,391 (Twenty One Trillion, Eight Hundred and Twenty Seven Billion, One Hundred and Eighty Eight Million, Seven Hundred and Forty Seven Thousand, Three Hundred and Ninety One Naira) only, of which N967,486,010,536 (Nine Hundred and Sixty Seven Billion, Four Hundred and Eighty Six Million, Ten Thousand, Five Hundred and Thirty Six Naira) only is for Statutory Transfers, N6,557,597,611,797 (Six Trillion, Five Hundred and Fifty-Seven Billion, Five Hundred and Ninety-Seven Million, Six Hundred and Eleven Thousand, Seven Hundred and Ninety Seven Naira) only is for Debt Service, N 8,329,370,195,637 (Eight Trillion, Three Hundred and Twenty Nine Billion, Three Hundred and Seventy Million, One Hundred and Ninety Five Thousand, Six Hundred and Thirty Seven Naira) only is for Recurrent (Non-Debt) Expenditure while the sum of N 5,972,734,929,421 (Five Trillion, Nine Hundred and Seventy Two Billion, Seven Hundred and Thirty Four Million, Nine Hundred and Twenty Nine Thousand, Four Hundred and Twenty One Naira) only is for contribution to the Development Fund for Capital Expenditure for the year ending on the 31st day of December, 2023.
