President Tinubu Commissions Key Projects In Lagos As Tenure Nears End

FIC Report (Lagos State) – With just over 400 days left in office, the Lagos State government has commissioned three major projects aimed at improving the quality of life for Lagosians. The projects, commissioned by President Bola Tinubu, who was represented by Senate President Godswill Akpabio, include the Ojota-Opebi Link Bridge, the Lagos Geographic Information Service Building, and the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Administrative Complex.

“These projects reflect how we approach governance. We focus on real problems and deliver practical solutions,” said the Governor, whose speech was delivered at the commissioning ceremony.

The Ojota-Opebi Link Bridge is expected to ease congestion and shorten travel time for thousands of commuters, while the Lagos Geographic Information Service Building will bring transparency and efficiency to land administration.

“What matters most is results that people can see and feel,” the Governor added.

The Bola Ahmed Tinubu Administrative Complex will improve coordination and speed up service delivery, creating a better working environment for public servants.

Senate President Godswill Akpabio, who represented President Tinubu, praised the administration’s efforts, saying, “These projects are a testament to the administration’s commitment to delivering results that impact lives.”

The Governor thanked everyone involved in the projects, from engineers to public servants, and assured Lagosians that the administration will continue to work tirelessly to improve the quality of life for all citizens.

“I am proud of what we have achieved so far, and grateful for the support of Mr. President, whose leadership and reforms continue to make a real difference, not only in Lagos, but across Nigeria,” he said.
