FIC Report (Lagos State) – President Bola Tinubu has called on Nigerians to embrace unity, compassion, and hope as the nation celebrates Christmas. In a heartfelt message delivered in Lagos today, Tinubu emphasized the importance of Christ’s teachings and Nigeria’s progress.

“As we mark this year’s Christmas, may the love of Christ and his message of grace, hope, peace, and goodwill to humanity abide with us all,” President Tinubu said.

The President urged citizens to prioritize peace and public safety during the festivities. “No alcohol, no danger to anybody’s life. Everybody is a member of this great family,” he advised, stressing mutual respect and joy.

Highlighting national progress, Tinubu said, “Eko is making progress, Nigeria is making progress. It is a result of this progress we are all rejoicing for this period.”

Tinubu expressed optimism about Nigeria’s future: “Nigeria is on a promising path of restoration and progress, with every indication pointing toward a bright future.”

The President also acknowledged the nation’s armed forces: “As you celebrate this season, please spare a moment of remembrance and prayer for the men and women of our nation’s armed forces, bearing arms in our names and ensuring our safety.”
