Servicom Is Positioned To Strengthen Service Delivery Improvements In MDAs

The National Coordinator/CEO SERVICOM Presidency, Mrs Nnenna Akajemeli, has said that the Office is positioned to strengthen service delivery improvements in Ministries Departments and Agencies service wide.

Akajemeli stated this when she paid an advocacy visit to the Nigeria Christian Pilgrims Commission today 14th March, 2025.

In her key note address, the Coordinator stated that, Mr. President has endorsed SERVICOM to go round MDAs to and carry out Compliance Evaluations using the SERVICOM Index as a tool to measure standards by ensuring customer satisfaction is attained.

According to her, SERVICOM assigned task, is to ensure quality contact that gives connects to the citizens and change the narratives between service providers and service takers that will culminate into customer satisfaction across board.

The important role of Nigerian Christian Pilgrims Commission in our dear nation she said, is to Coordinate with the Nigerian and Israeli Government authorities on rules and regulations for entry and stay in the Holy land.

Another aspect of services rendered by the Commission while hosting pilgrims on a trip for pilgrimage is to coordinate the health status of pilgrims, ensure financial, security is enshrined by the customs, and immigration officials while also Managing pilgrim camps and related facilities.

Today’s event. according her, is to acknowledge the efforts you make in your day-to-day operations from the Top management down to the frontline Officers of the Commission.

She stated that part of the purpose of her team’s visit, is to share knowledge on the Policy brief on SERVICOM, to strengthen the Parastatal SERVICOM Unit in the Commission and encourage the formulation and production of the Commission’s Service Charter to strengthen SERVICOM in NCPC.

She further reiterated the need for training for staff of the Commission in all aspects of service delivery stating the Commitment of the SERVICOM Office, to collaborate and partner with the Commission to ensure it renders excellent services to every pilgrim that comes to take service from them.

Akajemeli commended the Management for leading service improvement in the Commission and encouraged Management to further provide the Unit with needed support and resources.

As well as Inaugurate and carry out the induction of the Commission’s Parastatal SERVICOM Committee (PSC).

In his response, the Executive Secretary, Nigerian Christian Pilgrims Commission, Bishop (Prof), Adegbite Stephen Tunde Victor, thanked Mr President for his appointments of technocrats in various sectors that are willing to deliver services in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of his administration.

According to him our slogan in the Nigerian Christian Pilgrims Commission since the inception of his tenure is hinged on Service and Satisfaction.

He pledged. his commitment to deliver on the promises enshrined in the mandate of the Commission by ensuring that services rendered must be citizens centred.

Due to the Commission’s repositioning, commitment and dedication as service providers in the pilgrimage sector,” we have sensitized pilgrims against the ills of absconding from the camp,” he added.
