3.A Bill for an Act to Amend the Minerals and Mining Act, Cap. M12, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004 to encourage further Domestic and Foreign Investments in the Solid Mineral Subsector; and for Related Matters (HB.2033) (Rep. Chisom Promise Dike) – Second Reading. The Bill was stepped down by leave of the House
4.A Bill for an Act to Repeal the Oaths Act, Cap. O1, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004 and Enact the Oaths Bill to take cognizance of Technological Advancements and make Provisions for Digital and Electronic means of Administering Oaths and Affirmations in Nigeria; and for Related Matters (HB.2018) (Rep. Ifeanyi Chudy Momah and Rep. Ugonna Ozurigbo) – Second Reading.. The Bill was voted on, approved as amended and referred to the House committee on Judiciary.

6.Re-Commital of Bills Rep. Abubakar Hassan Fulata
The House: Recalls that the following Bills were passed by the National Assembly and transmitted to the President,
(i) Federal Medical Centres (Establishment) Bill, 2019 (HB. 182);
(ii) Nigerian Safety Investigation Bureau (Establishment) Bill, 2019 (HB. 465);
(iii) Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria Bill, 2019 (HB. 461)
Observes that some fundamental issues which require fresh legislative action emerged after critical analysis of the Bills; Resolution: rescind its decision on the Bills as passed and commit same to the Committee of the Whole for reconsideration.. The motion was voted on and adopted.
7.Need to include Igbo-Ora in the List of World Heritage Centre to United Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO):Rep. Muraina Saubana Ajibola:
Resolutions :(i) urge the Federal Government of Nigeria to include Igbo-Ora town in Oyo state on the Tentative List of UNESCO World Heritage Centres;
(ii) Also urge the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) to accord Igbo Ora town being the World Twins Capital the status of World Heritage Centre;
(iii) Mandate the Committees on Information, National Orientation, Ethics and Values, Culture and Tourism, and Legislative Compliance to liaise with the Ministries of Information and National Orientation and Culture and Tourism to ensure compliance. The motion was voted on and adopted.
