The Honourable Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Chief Timipre Sylva was yesterday 22nd December; 2022, in Daura, Katsina State turbaned as “SARKIN KUDUN HAUSA” by the Emir of Daura, Dr. Umar Farouk Umar, CON.

Chief Sylva was turbaned in appreciation of his contributions and achievements to the development of Nigeria especially in the Oil and Gas Sector and Daura Emirate Council.

The title “Sarkin Kudun Hausa” that was bestowed on Chief Sylva means “Emir of Southern Hausa”.
