Senator Oluremi Tinubu said attending the conference was an opportunity to gain valuable knowledge about the challenges and solutions to the HIV/AIDS pandemic while she looks forward to implementing some of the sustainable solutions back in Nigeria.
She said one of the strategies that would be deployed would be working closely with communities to address reoccurring issues and find sustainable solutions.
Earlier in the day, there was an interactive panel session which prompted the First Ladies present to pledge their commitments to ending mother-to-child HIV/AIDS transmission and eradicating new infections by the year 2023.
The First Ladies were also treated to the Zimbabwe hospitality and taken on the Zambezi River and, the Victoria Water Falls.
The Zambezi is the fourth-longest river in Africa, and the largest flowing into the Indian Ocean from Africa.
The First Ladies present include that of Botswana Mrs Neo Jane Masisi, Mozambique, Dr Isaura Ferrao Nyusi, the host, First Lady of Zimbabwe, Dr Auxillia Mnangagwa and the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, First lady of Ekiti State, Prof. Olayemi Oyebanji and ministers of the Republic of Zimbabwe.
