EBONYI (FIC Abakaliki) – The Governor of Ebonyi State, David Nweze Umahi, has reappointed Dr Chamberlain Nwele, as the Head of Service of the State as well as 21 other new appointees. Â
Chief Clement Nweke, Principal Secretary to the Governor, made this known in a statement made available to Information officers in Abakaliki on Tuesday, 9th July, 2019.Â
According to him, the appointees were sworn-in on Wednesday, July 10, 2019, at the Executive Council Chambers, Government House, Abakaliki.
Other appointees include, Valentine Okike, a former Deputy Speaker of the State House of Assembly appointed as a Senior Special Assistant to the Governor; Messrs Frank Onwe, Julius Nwokpor, Joseph Nwobasi and Chike Ogiji were also appointed Senior Special Assistants.       Â
Umahi also announced the appointment of Mr Okechukwu Nwakpu as Deputy Chief of Staff and Mr Emmanuel Obasi was reappointed as Deputy Principal Secretary.Â
Others reappointed into the government include; Mr Ali Odefa, Ogbuefi Enekwachi-Akpa as Senior Special Assistant, while Mr Silas Onu, Gideon Onwe, Mark Onu, Mrs Jennifer Adibe-Nwafor among others were reappointed as Special Assistant.  Â
Other fresh appointees according to the statement are; Mr Emeka Nwode, Nwaze Okechukwu, Edwin Onyeabor, Chris Uchaji and Agwu Nweze were to be sworn-in as Special Assistant while Mr Stephen Nweze would be inaugurated as Personal Assistant.Â
