EBONYI (FIC Abakaliki) – The Governor of Ebonyi State, David Nweze Umahi, has reappointed Dr Chamberlain Nwele, as the Head of Service of the State as well as 21 other new appointees.
Chief Clement Nweke, Principal Secretary to the Governor, made this known in a statement made available to Information officers in Abakaliki on Tuesday, 9th July, 2019.
According to him, the appointees were sworn-in on Wednesday, July 10, 2019, at the Executive Council Chambers, Government House, Abakaliki.
Other appointees include, Valentine Okike, a former Deputy Speaker of the State House of Assembly appointed as a Senior Special Assistant to the Governor; Messrs Frank Onwe, Julius Nwokpor, Joseph Nwobasi and Chike Ogiji were also appointed Senior Special Assistants.
Umahi also announced the appointment of Mr Okechukwu Nwakpu as Deputy Chief of Staff and Mr Emmanuel Obasi was reappointed as Deputy Principal Secretary.
Others reappointed into the government include; Mr Ali Odefa, Ogbuefi Enekwachi-Akpa as Senior Special Assistant, while Mr Silas Onu, Gideon Onwe, Mark Onu, Mrs Jennifer Adibe-Nwafor among others were reappointed as Special Assistant.
Other fresh appointees according to the statement are; Mr Emeka Nwode, Nwaze Okechukwu, Edwin Onyeabor, Chris Uchaji and Agwu Nweze were to be sworn-in as Special Assistant while Mr Stephen Nweze would be inaugurated as Personal Assistant.
