The Honourable Minister of Youth Development, Comrade Ayodele Olawande, has commended the Executive Governor of Kaduna State, Senator (Dr.) Uba Sani, for his visionary and commendable decision to establish a Ministry of Youth Development in the state.
Describing the move as a significant milestone, the Minister noted that the newly established ministry will strengthen the coordination and implementation of youth-focused policies, programmes, and initiatives. He emphasized that this development reflects Governor Sani’s unwavering commitment to youth empowerment and inclusive growth across Kaduna State.
During a recent courtesy visit to the Governor, Comrade Olawande had formally proposed the creation of a dedicated ministry for youth affairs. He expressed appreciation for the Governor’s swift and positive response, which he described as a hallmark of responsive and forward-thinking leadership.
“The Governor’s decision to establish the Ministry of Youth Development is a clear demonstration of his dedication to unlocking the potential of young people in Kaduna State,” the Minister stated.
He further praised the Governor’s leadership and foresight, affirming that young people are central to the state’s socio-economic transformation. The Minister also pledged the full support and collaboration of the Federal Ministry of Youth Development in driving impactful programmes through the new Ministry.
