FIC Report (Niger State) – The Minister of Information and National Orientation Alhaji Mohammed Idris has called on Nigerians to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Reforms saying that the reforms are designed to take Nigerians on part of enduring prosperity. He added that all the policies have been well thought out, well articulated and very well formulated for the interest of all Nigerians.
Idris stated this while answering questions from journalists shortly after the commissioning of projects executed by him at Malagi in Gbako Local Government Area of Niger State. Some of the projects commissioned are 500 capacity Central Mosque, an Islamic school, Electrification project that links Malagi to national grid and Sola power borehole.
The Minister while acknowledging challenges Nigerians are facing with, urged the people to be patient and support the Tinubu administration assuring that 2025 is the year of consolidation for the gains of all the economic reforms constituted by Tinubu government.
“Of course we know that times is bit challenging, but nowhere in the world that reforms are so easy so cheap reforms are very difficult. Difficult for the people are formulating and also difficult people who are also enduring it, but we know that it will take us to the desired land
“Nigeria will definitely turn the corner, we are already beginning to see the signs of that our economy is to turnaround. Let Nigerians give Mr. President a chance. We do hope that very soon next year 2025 is the year of consolidation,” he said.
He called on the people of Malagi community to live in peace and harmony with one another.
The farmer governor Bago during the inauguration promised a rice processing factory and cattle market in Malagi, while assuring the people of more dividends of democracy in the community.
The Minister, of Information and National Orientation in his remarks said the gesture is aimed at improving the lives of the people and connect them to the wider world.
Idris also enjoined the youths to remain law abiding and engage in skills that will make them self reliant and contribute to nation-building.
He commended the farmer governor for his giant strides in developing the state and assured him of his support at all time.
The Etsu Nupe, and Chairman Niger State Council of Traditional Rulers Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar applauded the Minister for executing such projects that would last for generations stating that he has by so doing imprinted his name in the book of history of Malagi.
