22 NTAC Volunteers deployed to The Gambia currently at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja and are set for departure. They are accompanied by a Foreign Service Officer from the Agency and will be received on arrival by officials of the Nigerian Mission in the host country alongside authorities of the Gambia.

This latest deployment brings to, about 300, the total number of volunteers sent to 11 countries over the past two years, further solidifying NTAC’s commitment to global service and South-South cooperation.

The volunteers, largely drawn from academia, will serve at the University of The Gambia, replacing those returning home after completing their two-year service.

The deployment is part of NTAC’s efforts to share Nigeria’s professional expertise with other nations, projecting the country’s values and strengthening international partnerships.

Under the leadership of NTAC Director General, Hon. Yusuf Buba Yakub, the agency continues to enhance Nigeria’s global image and provide opportunities for young professionals to serve and grow.
