The Head of the Civil Service of the Federation Mrs Didi Esther Walson-Jack on Thursday 14th August 2025 paid a surprise visit to the Federal Ministry of Art Culture Tourism and Creative Economy (FMACT&CE). The visit coincided with the celebration of her one year of transformative Leadership in the office.
Receiving the distinguished guest in his office on behalf of the Management and Staff of the Ministry, the Permanent Secretary Dr Mukhtar Yawale Muhammad warmly welcomed Mrs Walson-Jack and expressed profound appreciation for the numerous laudable reforms and innovation she has introduced to the civil service within just one year of her tenure.
Similarly Dr Muhammad since assuming duty as the Substantive Permanent Secretary less than three months ago has been making remarkable strides in repositioning the Ministry. One of the key initiatives under his Leadership is the forthcoming Ministerial Retreat,scheduled to hold from Wednesday 20th to Thursday 21st August 2025.The Retreat is expected to redefine strategies and improve the conduct of government bussiness within the Ministry.
