FIC Report (Kaduna State) – The Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani joining His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for high-level bilateral discussions with the President of the Federative Republic of Brazil, His Excellency Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, at the Palácio do Planalto in BrasÃlia.
These strategic talks culminated in the signing of five Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs), marking a significant milestone in strengthening cooperation between Nigeria and Brazil across critical sectors of mutual interest. Both leaders reaffirmed their shared commitment to fostering a dynamic Nigeria–Brazil partnership anchored on mutual respect, shared prosperity, and a common vision for the future.
Uba sani said particular significance is the vast potential these agreements unlock for sub-national entities like Kaduna State.
He pointed that the aims is to transformative opportunities to deepen collaboration in agriculture, technology transfer, vocational skills development, infrastructure, solid minerals, and renewable energy.
He further said as we work towards revitalizing Kaduna State’s economy, we remain steadfast in our pursuit of innovation-driven growth and robust international partnerships that will empower our people and catalyze sustainable development.
