The 2025 ADIPEC Exhibition and Conference opened today under the theme “Energy, Intelligence, Impact”

It’s an honour to join the Nigerian delegation, sharing our ongoing energy-sector reform story with global peers. In 2024, these reforms propelled Nigeria into the top quartile among 14 peer countries ranked by oil and gas investment attractiveness — a milestone that reflects our commitment to innovation, transparency, and competitiveness.

This morning, I participated in the OPEC Leadership Roundtable on “Collaboration, Diversification and Innovation: Securing Global Oil Market Stability.”

I underscored that stability in today’s oil market is not about control, but about resilience — the ability to adapt with agility while sustaining growth and investment.

That’s why we must deepen collaboration beyond OPEC+ to include governments, NOCs, private capital, and technology leaders working together for shared energy security and inclusive growth.

Tomorrow, I’ll join the OPEC Ministerial Panel on “Incentivising Sustainable Growth through Government Energy Policies.”

Since 2023, Nigeria’s Presidential Energy Directives and fiscal incentives have unlocked over $8 billion in upstream FIDs, with another $20 billion in the pipeline — proof that enabling policies attract credible capital and deliver real impact.

Also at #ADIPEC2025, NNPC Limited will host an Energy Talk led by the GCEO, Mr Bayo Ojulari, on “Strengthening Nigeria and NNPC’s Position in Global Energy Markets.”

Looking forward to the week’s strategic partnerships, investor dialogues, and high-impact collaborations that continue to position Nigeria — and Africa — as a reliable, innovative, and resilient energy partner for the world.

Signed
