The Nigerian Technical Aid Corps (NTAC), in collaboration with the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), on Thursday, 27th November 2025, held an intensive anti-corruption sensitization programme with the theme: “Say No to Corruption: Integrity Begins With Me.” The event took place at the NTAC Complex in Abuja.
Declaring the programme open, the Chairman of the Anti-Corruption and Transparency Unit (ACTU) and Director of Administration, Amb. Yakubu Abdullahi Ahmed, reaffirmed the Corps’ unwavering commitment to transparency, accountability, and ethical service delivery. He stressed that integrity must remain the bedrock of public service, particularly for an agency like NTAC that represents Nigeria on the global stage.
Participants benefitted from a series of insightful sessions facilitated by ICPC officials. The lectures covered:
- Resolving Attitudinal Issues and Ethical Dilemmas for an Effective Workforce
- Strategies for Combating Public Sector Corruption
- The Integrity Choice: Emotional Intelligence at Crossroads
Facilitators underscored the important role emotional intelligence plays in strengthening integrity-driven decision-making.
A captivating drama presentation by NTAC Corpers further illustrated how corruption often begins subtly and how conscious, principled choices ultimately uphold integrity.

Staff members participated actively, asking questions, sharing experiences, and engaging robustly during the interactive Q&A segment. The programme reinforced the need to sustain a corruption-free work culture and strengthened staff resolve to uphold the values of honesty, professionalism, and national pride.
The event ended with closing remarks by Mrs. Faustina Ogwua with expressions of appreciation to the ICPC for its unwavering partnership and continued support in promoting transparency and accountability within the public service.
