In continuation of the 2026 Nigerian Armed Forces Celebrations and Remembrance day, a Special Thanksgiving & Interdenominational Church Service was held today at the National Christian Centre, Abuja, and at military churches and designated churches in the 36 States of The Federation.
Recall that the event commenced with a Special Jummat prayers on Friday, 9 January 2026,
At the Inter- Denominational Church Service, the Honourable Minister of Women Affairs and Social Development Hajiya Imaan Suleiman-Ibrahim fsi was represented by the Permanent Secretary Mrs. Nko Asanye Esuabana accompanied by Mr Ali Andrew Madugu, Director Child Developments Department, Mrs Agnes Ibrahim, Director PRS, Mr Adamu Samaila Web, Director Gender Affairs Department and Ms Ucha Kalu Assistant Director Nutrition Department.
Other atttendees at the event included: the Chief of Defence Staff, Honourable Minister of Defence, Representative of other Honourable Ministers, Representative of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation, Representative of the Senate President, Chiefs of Army, Naval, Air Staff, IGP and heads of other Security and Paramilitary Service, Diplomats and several other eminent individuals.
