Police Recruitment: Written Examination Holds 28th–30th April, 2026 As PSC Warns Against Scams

FIC Report (Delta State) – The Police Service Commission (PSC), in collaboration with the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), has fixed 28th-30th April 2026 for the written examination for applicants seeking enlistment as Police Constables for both General Duty and Specialist applicants.

This is contained in a press statement issued by the Command’s Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP. Bright Edafe.  The disclosed that the exercise will take place at designated centres across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

According to the Command’s statement, only candidates who successfully passed the physical and credentials screening are eligible for the written Examination. Qualified applicants are to log on to www.npfapplication.psc.gov.ng from Friday 24th April 2026 to print their Examination Invitation Card, which indicates the specific date, time and venue of their test.

The statement added that applicants are required to come on exam day with the following items:
a pen, National Identification Number (NIN) Slip from NIMC (with clear photograph) and Printed Examination Invitation Card while they are to dress in white shorts, white T‑shirt and white canvas.

The Police Service Commission reiterates that the recruitment process is entirely free and warns that any form of job racketeering, scams, or financial inducement will be met with the full force of the law.
