FIC Report (Kaduna State) – Her Excellency, Hajiya Hafsat Uba Sani, First Lady of Kaduna State, joined the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), government agencies, development partners, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), civil society organizations, traditional and religious leaders, security agencies, and other key stakeholders in a renewed commitment to combat drug abuse and illicit trafficking.
The event highlighted the importance of collective action through sustained awareness campaigns, preventive measures, rehabilitation programmes, and community based interventions to address the growing challenge of substance abuse.
The programme, held under the theme, “Let Us Unite and Build a Healthier, Safer and Drug-Free Society for Present and Future Generations,” reaffirmed the shared commitment of all stakeholders to protecting communities from the harmful effects of drug abuse.
Her Excellency reiterated her commitment to supporting initiatives that empower young people, protect vulnerable groups, and strengthen collaboration among government institutions, communities, parents, faith-based organizations, and development partners to build a healthier, safer, and drug-free Kaduna State and Nigeria.
