FIC REPORT (KADUNA STATE) – The Governor of Kaduna State, Senator Uba Sani, CON, has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to deepening collaboration with the Federal Government on initiatives aimed at strengthening the economy, reducing poverty and unemployment, and expanding economic opportunities for the people of Kaduna State.
He paid a courtesy visit to the Honourable Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Mr. Taiwo Oyedele, with whom he held fruitful discussions on strengthening the Nigerian economy and deepening the partnership between the Federal Government and Kaduna State.
Sani said , the engagement focused on priorities fundamental to the wellbeing of citizens, including poverty reduction, employment creation, revitalisation of rural economies, expansion of financial inclusion and the development of pathways to sustainable livelihoods.
He noted that financial inclusion initiatives are creating opportunities for greater economic participation by citizens across Kaduna State, particularly by expanding access to financial services and economic opportunities.
Uba said the Kaduna State Government remains committed to purposeful collaboration with the Honourable Minister and relevant Federal Government institutions in advancing programmes that empower citizens, unlock enterprise, strengthen communities and broaden the foundations for inclusive and sustainable economic growth.
He commended Mr. Oyedele for his dedication to advancing economic reforms and his openness to partnerships capable of delivering meaningful impact to Nigerians.
He stressed that stronger cooperation between the Federal Government and Kaduna State is essential to translating economic policies and reforms into tangible opportunities for citizens, particularly in the areas of job creation, enterprise development, rural economic revitalisation and improved livelihoods.
Sani further reaffirmed Kaduna State’s alignment with the vision and objectives of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, particularly its focus on building a stronger, more inclusive and sustainable Nigerian economy.
He said our shared objective is a Kaduna where opportunity is widened and prosperity reaches every community.
Uba expressed optimism that continued collaboration with the Federal Government would further strengthen ongoing efforts to create an enabling environment for enterprise, expand economic participation and improve the quality of life of citizens across Kaduna State.
