A special national Juma’at prayer was offered at the National Mosque, Abuja on 25th September, 2026 as part of activities marking Nigeria’s 66th Independence Anniversary.
In his message through the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Alh. Tajudeen Abbas, President Bola Tinubu, assured citizens that Nigeria is on a steady path to greater development and prosperity as he called on Nigerians to keep faith and remain hopeful.
He Further emphasized that Nigeria has “come of age” at 66, expressing optimism that current socio-economic challenges across the country will soon improve.
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, was represented by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Alh. Tajudeen Abbas, while Hon. Minister of Women Affairs and Social Development Hajiya Imaan Suleiman-Ibrahim fsi, was represented by a team of officials from the FMWASD.
