ABUJA (OHCSF Report) – The Acting Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Dr. Folashade Yemi – Esan, has promised to build on the achievements of the outgoing Head of Service of the Federation (HoCSF), Mrs. Winifred Ekanem Oyo-Ita.
Dr. Yemi –Esan said this in her remarks, as she resumed duty on Thursday, 19th September, 2019. She acknowledged the outgoing HoCSF saying, there is no reinventing the wheel and therefore promised to only build on the sound foundation and structure which was left behind because the government is a continuum. She therefore appealed that the cooperation and support given to the outgoing HoCSF be extended to her.
Earlier in her handing over speech, Mrs. Winifred Ekanem Oyo – Ita said, her experience as the HoCSF had been interesting and eventful. She said that the 153 paged handing over note with annexures, is a clear indication of the depth of work in the Office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation.
She further thanked the President for the opportunity given her to serve and acknowledged that, government is a continuum and finally encouraged the incoming HoCSF to continue where she stopped.
The handing over ceremony was witnessed by Permanent Secretaries, Directors and other management staff in the OHCSF.
